Did I really need two yellow dresses from H&M? Why, yes, I did. What kind of question is that anyway? The price was great and besides being the same sunny hue, they’re totally different dresses. The first one here has a boho feel to it, and this one with the ruffles and bow at the waist is definitely more romantic.
The dress hits all of my professional wickets– not too much cleavage, decent length, and comfortable for a full day at the office. And I really like that it’s feminine without being pink. The soft fabric and ruffles are ladylike without reminding me of a baby girl nursery. That’s why I think it is perfect for a working day and then transitioning to date night.
I wish I got a better picture of this necklace, but my camera died mid-shoot 🙁 It’s an engraved gold bar necklace with my wedding date in Roman numerals. The Etsy shop I got it from, Jewelry Blues, has lots of options for customizable accessories. Instead of a wedding date, you could choose a child’s birthday, or skip the Roman numerals and choose a loved one’s initials. Or choose your own name! I love the endless options, and it’s a great gift idea.
I love short work weeks…tomorrow is hump day already!
