Could you stand it if I started talking about transition pieces? I don’t like to think about summer ending either, but when you find a great jacket on sale you really don’t have a choice but to buy it. This white tweed biker jacket was the last one in my size so it was kind of meant to be 🙂
Tweed usually means office wear, but the moto style says forget work and let’s get drinks! I kept the outfit simple to really let the jacket stand out, and I think when it starts to get cooler I’ll wear this same outfit but trade the pencil skirt for nice trousers, maybe even some colored ones?
And don’t you think this jacket would look amazing with distressed denim? The possibilities are really endless! Basically I’m telling you to get it before it sells out so you can wear it for the rest of your life, especially since it’s under $30.
For the last few months I have been a big fan of the MAC Liptensity lipstick in Life’s Blood. I love the true red and it does last me about half the day without reapplying. But I recently picked up a Sephora Rouge Cream Lipstick in the shade Classic Bright Red. Has anyone else tried this kind? I’ll let you know how it goes when I test it out, since it’s less than half the price of the MAC version and could be a great alternative.
Coming up on the blog I have a travel post about my recent trip to Rome and both casual and work looks for next week! I’ll be taking my last grad school class next week, so I’ll try and get the usual 3 posts scheduled but no promises…I can see the light at the end of this masters tunnel!
Enjoy the rest of your week, everyone!
