Without really thinking about it, I almost always match my shoes and handbag. It’s one of those weird fashion rules that is subconsciously imprinted in my brain, and I have been trying harder to be less matchy matchy.

So here I’m mixing these dark brown boots with a cognac bag, and it was really easy since both are new to my closet and I feel like wearing them 24/7. Do you ever feel like doing that when you get something new?
Anyway I love how the browns pair with the white jeans and light blue sweater. It’s a little switch from your typical deep fall colors. And can we all agree that we just want to wear oversize sweaters for the rest of our lives? No more muffin top and all day comfort…how can you expect me to go back to tight sweaters after this!?
I talked about how much I love this leather bag in a post earlier in the week because it’s just so darn versatile. I took off the longer strap that can be used to make it a crossbody bag and used the small handles so that it’s a tote. I’ve been using it this way to carry my laptop and some papers for schoolwork this week and it’s perfect. When I take my laptop and larger items out and drop them back off at home, I can just fold over the top of the bag and continue to use it as my purse. No more switching from school bags to purses!
I’m excited for this weekend to get started because I have family visiting and we’re going to be doing a bunch of travel. Follow me on Instagram and check out my stories to see where we go!
