Monday
Sweater – similar, similar // Jeans – similar // Booties – similar // Earrings (under $10)
I’ve been really into thrifting lately, and this fringe sweater is one of my recent finds. I got it for $3 when it was originally sold for $49! I’ve been amazed at how I can actually find some items that are still being sold in stores. I’ve been going through my thrift hauls on Instagram stories, so if you want to see other items that haven’t made it into an #OOTD yet you should check it out (it’s all saved in my highlights). I’m also wearing the green statement earrings that I can’t seem to get enough of. They’re still under $10!
Tuesday
Sweater – similar // Leggings – similar // Boots – similar // Scarf – similar
My classic outfit for a cold day: tunic sweater, leggings, and tall boots. And a scarf! I know this look is a little dated but I really don’t care because it keeps me warm at work! I’m hoping for not too many more days of this in the near future.
Wednesday
Sweater – similar // Jeans // Boots – similar // Earrings – similar (under $10)
You know what the problem with dark hair is? You can hardly see my statement earrings against the brown! Because without the earrings this is a pretty plain outfit. I bought a bunch of wool sweaters from Banana Republic one year and they have held up so well– including this gray one with bow ties at the sleeves. The simple wool sweaters look polished for work and are a great base for fun accessories (if you can see them!).
Thursday
Top // Jeans – similar // Booties – similar // Earrings – similar
I bet you’d never guess where this top is from: Costco! I am a sucker for a boho top, and of course the prices at Costco can’t be beat. It comes in a few patterns, and I like to bring out the red in this one by wearing red lipgloss with it.
Friday
Sweater – similar // Jeans // Shoes – similar // Necklace
I wasn’t able to get a good picture of it, but this sweater has a cool back detail where it’s partly open and black ties connect it. I realized that I hardly ever reach for it though, so after I wore it and washed it I donated it. Now room for more sweaters in my closet!
Also, I have since cleaned this mirror now that I noticed the distracting streaks on it near my legs!
Saturday – Day
Cardigan – similar // Top – similar // Jeans – similar // Shoes – similar // Earrings – similar
I didn’t put too much effort into this look since I was waking up early (relatively for a Saturday) to go to the thrift store. The one nearest to me has 50% off three out of their 4 colored tags on Saturdays, so I wanted to get there early while there was still good stuff!
Saturday – Evening
Sweater – similar // Jeans (under $25) // Shoes – similar (under $25) // Clutch – similar // Earrings – similar
I went out on the town in Colorado Springs for the first time this night, so I felt like an off the shoulder top, skinny jeans, and heels were appropriate. I actually got this sweater at Forever 21 over the holidays (I hardly ever go in there anymore!) and was surprised at the quality of this one. And who doesn’t love a good red/pink combo? I found a super similar one with some blue in it!
Sunday
Sweater – similar // Jeans – similar // Shoes – similar // Necklace
Sunday errands: getting Costco gas, browsing TJ Maxx, and stopping by the grocery store. No need to wear anything special for that. I got this sweater from American Eagle a few years ago and just placed a huge order with them yesterday. Isn’t it crazy how much that store has changed in the last 10 years?
Enjoy the rest of your week!
