Are you in the mood for another outfit roundup? Last week’s went so well that I thought I would continue again, and possibly do one each week! Like I said before, they’re easier for me and more realistic than styled shoots.
Last week was a pretty normal one with work outfits for the day and a few more casual ones for weekends, although I do have one dressy look from our night at the Denver symphony on Friday. Let’s get to it!
Monday
Jacket – similar // Top – similar // Jeans // Scarf – similar ($5!) // Booties – similar
I started off Monday pretty strong– I have to say this was my favorite outfit of the week! And a lot of you guys liked it on Instagram stories. I’ve been leaning towards simple outfits with some of my favorite color combos. In this case, it was brown and pink. This scarf was a recent Nordstrom Rack find when they had a clear the rack sale, and the one I linked is almost exactly it for only $5! Right now is the time to stock up on scarves and winter accessories while they’re super marked down.
Here’s the outfit with the jacket on:
Tuesday
Top – similar // Vest – similar // Jeans // Shoes – similar
I got this multi-colored striped top on clearance at Old Navy and it was too hard to resist because of the unique combination of stripes. I like having stripes options in my closet! And these shoes were a Gordman’s find. Remember when talked about that store? They have lots of name brands at great discounted prices. These were originally sold at American Eagle and I got them for $16.99.
Wednesday
Sweater // Jeans – similar // Scarf – similar // Boots – similar
This was the day of the bomb cyclone here in Colorado. The day started off nice enough, but turned into the craziest blizzard! We had over 90mph winds that led to near whiteout conditions with the snow. I had to go to a class for work and luckily we were let out early. I wanted to be comfortable sitting in the class all day so I wore my cashmere sweater and leggings.
Also, look at Rascal judging me taking my #OOTD pic!
Thursday
Top – similar // Jeans // Booties – similar // Headband // Necklace – similar
If you saw last week’s roundup then you know I also have this knotted headband in gray. It’s just too cute! You can see it better in the close up below.
I’m also wearing a Walmart sweater, Target jeans, and Amazon booties. You know this girl is all about affordable finds 😉
Friday – Work
Sweater – similar // Jeans – similar // Booties – similar
One of my new year’s resolutions was to wear more of my older items, and this sweater is definitely in that category. It’s about 3 years old and was an Amazon find– and it might be time to part ways with it. I just don’t love it like I used to! I’m planning a big closet cleanout this weekend so we’ll see how I feel when it comes time to decide.
Friday – Evening
Dress – similar, similar (under $33) // Shoes – similar (under $25) // Earrings – similar
I know this is an awful picture, but I love this dress! I got it an Anthro when they had a sale on sale and it was great to finally wear it out. It’s got all the good retro vibes. We went to see (or should I say hear?) the symphony in Denver, which was a fun night out. And we got drive thru Mexican food on the way home so I was a very happy camper!
Saturday
Top – similar // Vest – similar // Jeans – similar // Shoes – similar // Necklace – similar
As usual I had some errands to run on Saturday, and I ended up going to a new thrift store near me that was so good! The weather was pretty nice so I didn’t need a jacket or booties. I’m looking forward to more of those days in the future!
Sunday
Top – similar // Jeans // Earrings – similar, similar
Sunday we had a little brunch at our house with some friends (hence no shoes!), so I wore a graphic tee, some frayed hem jeans, and tassel earrings. I wrote a whole post about where I get cute graphic tees, and this one is from Kohl’s. They always have super cute Disney ones! If you can’t read it, the top says ‘Don’t be late’ and has a picture of Cinderella running to the carriage. Yes, I am almost 30, and yes, I am still wearing Disney princess stuff. Sorry not sorry!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
