So part of me is shocked that it’s almost May, and the other part of me is cool with it because that means it’s warming up and spring is here.
I completely switched out my closet from winter/fall to spring/summer and it’s almost like I have a whole new wardrobe! Almost…
Monday
Sweater – similar (under $20) // Jeans – similar // Shoes – similar // Earrings – similar (under $13)
I always talk about my favorite color combinations in these weekly outfit roundups — and today will be no exception! I love beige/camel tones and red. And hopefully this is the last week I need to wear faux fur lined loafers because it’s warming up outside!
Tuesday
Jacket – similar // Tank – similar //Jeans – similar // Shoes –similar // Hair clip (part of a set)
Everyone loved this outfit on Instagram stories! Tweed pieces give off all the Chanel vibes. But legit I will probably never buy Chanel so this H&M tweed moto jacket will have to do for the next several years (AKA my lifetime).
What better to go with a tweed jacket than a pearl barrette?! You guys know I’ve been wearing the different hair clips from the set I got recently, and I ended up wearing them twice this week!
Wednesday
Top – similar ($8) // Skirt – similar // Shoes – similar // Bobby Pins (part of a set)
I guess I was on a bit of a tweed vibe this week? And funny enough this skirt is also from H&M! Tweed can be kinda pricey, but of course H&M is way more affordable. I usually wear jeans to work, but I had a dinner event afterwards and wanted to be a bit more dressed up. I hadn’t worn heels for a full day in a long time and surprisingly my feet weren’t dying!
Hair clips again! A lot of clips in the set have pearls, but if you’re not into that style there’s a good amount of minimalist gold ones that are also really fun.
Friday
Top – similar (under $25) // Jeans (under $25) // Shoes – similar // Necklace – similar (under $25)
This pretty embroidered detail top is an Anthro find from the thrift store that was new with tags; I paid $7.50 and the original price was $88! I plan on writing some posts about thrifting for the blog later on because I’ve really become super obsessed with it lately.
Saturday
Top – similar // Jeans – similar // Shoes – (under $20) // Necklace – similar (under $25)
Speaking of thrifting, this was my outfit for going thrifting on Saturday. I feel like every girl needs a pair of relaxed jeans to wear on weekends when you want to wear sweatpants but are trying to step it up. Also, these Steve Madden dupes are back at Target this season and are under $20!
Sunday
Tank – similar // Jeans – similar // Shoes (under $30) // Sunglasses – similar
Sunday I rode my bike to a ‘castle’ built by the founder of Colorado Springs back in the 1800s. It’s called Glen Eyrie and is quite stunning! It was the most perfect day outside for a bike ride.
Since I wore these flatforms on the bike ride, the tour of the castle, and for the rest of the day running errands I can say that they are comfortable. I’m glad I decided to keep them, and if you’re considering them you might be able to go down half a size.
Have a great week, everyone!
