Jeans. My Achilles heel. It doesn’t matter how many I own in how many styles and how many washes and how many fits, I will still be tempted to try new ones on when I go shopping. You just never know when you’re going to find your next favorite!
And now that I don’t work in a business casual office setting I get to wear jeans pretty much every day. It’s absolute heaven for me!
So I thought I would share with you the 3 places that the majority of my jeans are from, regardless of all my shopping.
Jeans from Gap
Growing up I used to think that Gap was just plain. No fun. But now I’ve realized that their basics, namely jeans, are phenomenal!
I always make sure to buy them on sale (and Gap is the kind of store that almost always has some sort of sale) and the quality is tip top. They’re one of the few places I can find jeans that actually feel like denim, not just thick stretchy material. And, I must say, their distressing is always so well done.
My recent favorites have been their line of straight style jeans, which is perfect if you need a break from skinny styles.
Right now everything at Gap is an extra 40% off with code SOGOOD 🙂
Jeans from Amazon
With so many brands how could you not find jeans on Amazon? I ordered the cropped pair in the photo above from a brand I had never even heard of and they’re actually great! I love the higher waist and the straighter crop style AND the fact that they’re on sale right now.
While I took a chance on the pair above, I usually shop for Levi’s on Amazon because they are always so much cheaper than when I find them at department stores. And the variety of washes is much better, too.
This high waisted, distressed pair of Levi’s was an Amazon find, and I’ve had luck with their 711 jean styles as well. Honestly, whatever style Levi’s makes in a jean, you’ll find it on Amazon. I used to think Levi’s were out of my price range since in stores they were $75+, but the prices are way better on Amazon. Trust me!
Jeans from Old Navy
Oh, Old Navy. The affordable, trendy favorite of everyone! Let me tell you, I was OBSESSED with their line of sculpt jeans a few years ago. I bought some in gray, some with frayed hems, and both dark and light blue washes. And I still think they’re great jeans for under $50. I wore the heck out of my dark blue pair! The sculpt really pulls you in and makes you look slimmer.
But with the change of times I have started to favor more straight styles and ones that are less stretchy, more denim-y. So my sculpt jeans get worn less often. But I still keep a few in my closet! I don’t think Old Navy jeans are as good of quality as Gap, but they are still great jeans.
Jeans from Target
“Umm, Kristin, can’t you learn how to count? You said 3 places for 90% of your jeans, not 4!”
Yea, I know. Even though most of my jeans are from Gap, Amazon, and Old Navy, I had to share this pair from Target because I have been wearing them repeatedly lately!
This basic high waisted pair of dark denim is the only pair I have from Target, but they are a new staple for me. You can see I’ve been wearing them on the blog frequently, and they’re just a great standard pair of jeans. What more is there to say?
There you have it! Where most of the jeans in my closet are from. Do you get your jeans from these stores? What are your favorites?
