I know we all love Target — like, EVERYTHING at Target. It’s full of affordable and cute stuff, and it’s a one stop shop for clothes, home goods, groceries, stationary, makeup, and anything else you have on your list.
And I’ve realized lately how much items from Target have become staples for me. There are a lot of things from Target that I have continued to wear through multiple seasons (hello my favorite jeans and loafers) and beauty items I buy again and again. I certainly buy my fair share of other things…items that aren’t re-stocked or I’m not as attached to, but all in all Target has been a big provider of tried and true items.
So I thought I’d round up in one post all of my Target favorites that are available right now that I think you guys need in your life.
Universal Thread High Rise Skinny Jeans at Target
I know some people swear by expensive jeans, but I have absolutely no reason to try them because these under $25 high rise skinny jeans are PERFECT.
I have them in two washes, medium and dark (the medium is pictured here), and I wear both pairs every week. They have a little bit of stretch and fit like a dream. It may sound a little overboard with how much I love them, but if you ever catch my what I wore posts you know it’s true. If you wear jeans to work or are at least able to do so for casual Friday these are great because they have no distressing.
They run true to size as far as the waist, but you should know I get them in the short version and I’m 5’5″.
Affordable Graphic Tops at Target
Guys…graphic tees are my jam. I wrote a whole post about where I find cute, affordable graphic tees, and obviously Target is one of them. I always get comments on this avocado-holic tee when I wear it, and I also have one that says Dog Mom 🐾. Both are under $13!
I also buy graphic sweatshirts (I have this I heart coffee one) when they have them on sale, as well as graphic tanks for working out.
Basic Loafer & Strappy Heels at Target
These under $23 loafers are my go-tos. They’re honestly great no matter what you do– if you work, they’re work appropriate. If you don’t, they still go with everything and are really comfortable.
Sizes are restocked and they now have blush, rose gold, gray, and tan as other color options. I have them in both black and tan!
And for when I want a strappy sandal, these nude ones are it. They dress up jeans just as easily as they go with fancier clothes. What is so awesome about this style is that Target offers it in different colors AND heel heights! This style here is the mid height (2.5 inch heel) and is $24.99, but there’s also the 3.75 inch heel at $29.99 and under 2 inch heel at $19.99.
I personally really like the 2.5 inch height. It’s not too high that you can’t walk around in them for a good bit of time, but also high enough that they’re dressy. I wouldn’t be surprised if I got more colors (there’s olive and lilac and red!).
I am also very intrigued by the newest version they have with an acrylic strap at the toes— much trendier and still affordable!
Everyday Skincare and Hair Products at Target
These three products right here are part of my almost daily routine (and they’re all cruelty free!).
Every night I use Thayer’s witch hazel as a toner right after cleansing. I live in a semi-arid climate, so I don’t need anything too harsh or drying. Witch hazel is just right and actually has a other uses, like reducing inflammation after waxing.
Every morning before applying makeup I use e.l.f.’s tone adjusting primer. For a budget makeup item (this size is $6) it does suprisingly well! I’m not sure if I’m just not enough of a makeup guru, but between this primer and more expensive ones I’ve had (like $60 Murad primer) I couldn’t tell enough of a difference!
And what girl could go without dry shampoo nowadays? I’ve recently been trying different ones from Hask, and their volumizing dry shampoo is my favorite. It’s under $5 and I think it’s easier than some other brands to brush out the white dust after letting it sit on my roots for a few minutes. I love when affordable options are the best ones!
If I had to stress one thing at all from this post, it’s got to be the jeans. I mean, under $25 jeans that look and feel that great have got to be shared with the world, right? I have also seen them marked down to $20 every once in awhile.
Regardless of what you’re getting at Target, always look through the Cartwheel part of the Target app to see if there are deals that could be good for you. They always have some nice deals in the beauty department, and sometimes I see good ones for shoes and apparel.
