I love the hustle and bustle of visiting big cities, but I also love those small town hidden gems that are all over Europe. Living in Bavaria, Germany means there are many a few hours drive away. Our most recent excursion was to Schwäbisch Hall. The medieval city has plenty of old churches, half-timbered houses, and cobblestone squares to see. From the downtown you can also walk through parks and alongside the river Kocher.
We walked through the downtown and by the river, enjoyed lunch al fresco, and even indulged in the cutest (and tastiest!) chocolate treats. I can’t wait to enjoy more small towns in Europe!
