Never get tired of these mountain views in Colorado Springs
Coming off of my no spend January, I was ready to SHOP this month. And I’ve already hit my personal budget in terms of clothes, accessories, and beauty items. There were so many great things I found on sale, and even some items I have been eyeing for months (Gucci fur loafer dupes!).
So I thought I would round up everything I’ve bought in one post since I don’t have as much time for dedicated outfit posts. Let’s start with every basic girl’s fave, Target!
Target Sale Finds
Off the Shoulder Sweater // High Rise Skinny Jeans (under $25!)
I am a sucker for an off the shoulder sweater. Particularly a slouchy one, and the print and fringe on this one make it that much better. It’s pretty tight on the top and works much better as off just one shoulder. I found this one on the sale rack at my local Target, but don’t see it marked down online. I would check in store if you’re interested in it.
I already own this pair of jeans in a different wash (seen here and here), and the fit is absolutely perfect for me. The day I went to Target they had a Cartwheel deal on jeans so it was meant to be for me to grab it in another wash! In fact, they still have a 10% off women’s jeans Cartwheel deal that’s valid until March 2, so give them a shot.
Faux Fur Loafer Slides (under $13)
I think that these Gucci fur loafer slides are something you either love or hate…and I love! As impractical as it may be to have faux fur on a backless shoe, I don’t care. I’m having a major loafer moment (more like year) so I’m down for all kinds. These are on clearance for half off and are selling quick. This was the last one in my size in store!
If your size is sold out there are still other dupes out there that are super affordable. This pair is under $20 from American Eagle, and this one from Shein is $25.
Peace, Love, Wine Sweatshirt (under $18)
I can’t explain my luck with this graphic sweatshirt that basically has my life’s motto on it. For some reason at a Target near me it was on clearance for under $9. Yes, under $9! But another Target in my area still has it full price, and it’s still full price online. I honestly don’t understand Target’s pricing policies, but they worked in my favor this time so I’m not complaining!
This was my Super Bowl party outfit, because when you don’t care about sports you sport your love for wine on your top 🤷♀️
Francesca’s Sale Finds
Green Statement Tassel Earrings (under $10)
I hadn’t been in Francesca’s in a bit, but like always I was enamored with all of the great sale jewelry! I picked up these two statement earrings, but was tempted to get so many more. Unfortunately only the green ones are still available, but I linked up a few super pretty pieces in the widget below that are ALL UNDER $10.
I also want to talk really quickly about one more store that I stopped in for the first time this month: Gordmans. I had barely heard of the store before moving to Colorado Springs, and after driving by one to work almost every day decided to stop in. It’s similar to a TJ Maxx in that they sell other brands for less, especially last season items. They had a large selection of older Express items, and randomly I could also find other brands like American Eagle or Steve Madden.
I ended up getting some American Eagle mules (it’s an obsession with the mules, I know) and a pair of Levi’s jeans. The jeans and shoes were each $16.99!
Since each store has different items they don’t have inventory online like normal retailers, but if you’ve ever thought about popping in I highly suggest it!
I’m super excited for some makeup content coming later this week, and I was thinking of sharing what beauty items I like to splurge on and what I like to save on in the future. For some reason I’ve had beauty products on the brain lately 💄
Have a great week!
