I hesitated so much about getting over the knee boots. I just didn’t think I could justify the cost of OTK boots considering how often I would get to wear them. I mean, you can’t just wear them on any old day, right? WRONG!

I was thinking about them the wrong way the whole time. Not only was I able to find some at a great price with Amazon Warehouse (if you’re unfamiliar, read this post), but I realized that you don’t have to save them for a night on the town. You can wear them on a normal weekend and look super fabulous.
Obviously skinny jeans or leggings are a must for wearing OTKs casually. I love the look of them with bare legs and a shorter dress, but that’s more for a date night or fancier affair. And something relaxed but polished on top really seals the deal, which is why I chose this v-neck sweater. I finished the look off with black frames, diamond earrings, and some deep berry lipstick for a dash of color. So don’t mind me if I end up making OTK boots a weekend ritual, okay?
Would you wear over the knee boots casually, or save them for dressing up?
