I could write a novel about how much I love Old Navy…but I won’t. You definitely don’t want to read that, and hopefully the fact that almost every single outfit I wear has something from that store shows you how great it is. Living overseas I greatly appreciate the fact that they have free shipping on orders over $50 and allow free returns. They’re typically a more casual store, but my dress haul this week shows how their clothes can work with every lifestyle and dress code.
The most casual dress from my order, this flowy jersey dress is super comfortable and forgiving. You could eat 1o chimichangas and no one would be the wiser. And bright accessories like the turquoise necklace and yellow sandals really pop against the black. Unfortunately, this item is just way too short for me and I will be returning. I ordered an XS so it wouldn’t be too flowy, but I think a small or medium would have helped with the length issue. It’s under $20 and comes in gray as well!
Now I know I should love all my clothes equally, but who wouldn’t fall in love with this chambray beauty? If you have a more casual office then this dress is certainly work appropriate. The length and neckline are on the safe side, and the footwear totally make the dress. I can see wearing closed toe flats for work, and then wedges for weekend wear. I’m not much of a sneaker gal, but some slim white Keds or Toms would pair well, too. Believe it or not, this dress is also under $20!

Finally, the last dress from my order is this safari shirtdress. This one is the ‘dressiest’ out of all three, and wearable in most professional environments. This olive color is universally flattering, and works with brown or black accessories. I’m always on the look out for more professional clothing from Old Navy, since they’re usually made out of very comfortable fabrics and they transition well from the office to after hours.
Update 6/5- The Safari dress is out of stock, but here is a similar sleeve less option!
