Earlier this week I was convinced that fall was right around the corner. Convinced I tell you! I walked 15 blocks to work and did not break a sweat the ENTIRE TIME!
By the end of the day during my 2 block walk to yoga class I had changed my mind completely as the sweat and humidity had come back full force. Le sigh.
But that didn’t stop my mind from buzzing with early fall outfits, including this look with a new graphic tee, my favorite distressed jeans, simple loafers, and my classic trench coat.
Isn’t the pattern on this graphic tee adorable? It’s got a dog, high heels, perfume, lipstick, books, a plant, keys…basically everything in a basic girl’s life. So I couldn’t say no when it was 40% off. It runs a little big, so if you want a slouchier fit stay with your normal size. I sized down and it works well for tucking into higher waisted pants.
My black loafers are my go to early fall shoe. When I’m not quite ready for boots but know it’s time to stop wearing sandals. And these are so comfortable I have no problem walking all over the city in them. They’re actually some of my favorites for travel, as well, since they match so much and are great for walking. These ones also come in pink, tan, and gray.
Of course there’s no better early fall favorite than a trench coat. I’ve had mine for a few years now, but this trench coat is similar and currently 50% off. When I had a business casual office job I wore it all the time, and now that I’m just wearing jeans and graphic tees I still do the same!
I hope everyone has a great weekend and that those affected by Hurricane Florence find safety. At this point it seems like we’ll be okay in Richmond, but I know that others are not so fortunate. Stay safe!
