I just love mixing feminine and military pieces, like lace and camouflage, bows and combat boots, and pink floral and olive cargo here. I mean, channeling Olivia Palermo is always the right idea.

I really can’t explain how much I love these skinny cargo pants. When I wore them the first time I explained in this post how a girl with bigger thighs can have a hard time buying skinny pants, let alone cargos that can add bulk. This pair, though, are straight from magic land. They’re decently thick to cover down on problem areas, but also stretchy to fit just right over your legs. And one of my biggest pet peeves with skinny pants is when the ankle opening is too large, but this pair is perfectly sized and cropped. If I didn’t convince you already that you should get them, they’re on sale and available in almost all sizes still.
This past week I posted on my Instagram my new favorite polish that I’m also wearing here. It’s Wallis by Butter London and it’s amazing. I usually don’t splurge on nail polishes because, well, it just goes on your nails for a week or two. I decided to give two Butter London polishes a try when they were 50% off at the store (so still around $7!), and now I might be a luxury nail polish convert. The Wallis color is a green-gold-black shimmer that I’ve never seen before and is such a showstopper. I’ve had to do minimal touch ups and it’s just so gorgeous. I’ll let you know when I test out the other color I picked up.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
