You were totally disappointed when you saw the Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Him come out earlier this week, right? You were thinking, ‘What about the lady gift guide?!’ Well rest easy, friends- the Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Her is here along with this outfit post.

I wish I could wear this oversize criss cross sweater to work. It’s just so cozy and I want to live in it on the couch with my dog and ice cream and Friends marathons on Netflix! Ugh, I’ll have to settle for wearing it on weekends, which I’ve done for two in a row now. It’s super soft and thick (for the price), and perfect for fall and winter. It runs big (wearing a size small for reference), so a camisole underneath is a must. I love the marled grey with the brown booties here, but I’ve also worn it with these black boots and it looks just as good.
I have one beauty and one jewelry fave right now, and they’re so perfect for Valentine’s Day it’s insane. First, this MAC Liptensity Lipstick in the shade Life’s Blood is the ultimate true and creamy red. I never even set foot in a MAC before my recent trip to pick this one up, but I figured that every girl should have a killer red lipstick, and 2017 was the year to get mine. I was initially going to get the fabled Ruby Woo, but chose this Liptensity instead and have no regrets.
And my jewelry fave is this heart and arrow necklace in rose gold and sterling silver. I have extreme phases with my necklaces…sometimes I want a statement necklace that steals the show, and sometimes I want a delicate one as the perfect accent. Right now the mood is dainty, so this one is getting a lot of wear. It’s budget-friendly, too, which is why it made it’s way onto the Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Her.
We’ve got less than two weeks until Valentine’s Day, so take a look at the ideas and be sure to order soon! The rest of the outfit deets are below the gift guide 😉

- Bath Bombs – If you get these for anybody, you have to write on the card, ‘You’re the bomb!’ It’s a cheesy bath bomb gift law, FYI. But these beautifully packaged bath bombs aren’t just pretty for decorating a bathroom, they’re handmade, organic, cruelty-free, and naturally made in the USA. That’s a lot of good stuff! And the reviews are insanely positive…it makes me sad that I don’t have a bath tub and can’t gift these to myself!
- Heart & Arrow Necklace – Valentine’s Day jewelry doesn’t have to be expensive. This cute and holiday appropriate necklace is only $40. I love the mix of rose gold in the heart and sterling silver in the arrow, and dainty necklaces are my jam so I’ll be wearing mine a lot.
- Harry Potter Coloring Book – It is a truth universally acknowledged that every girl of my generation loves Harry Potter. She probably already owns all the books and all the movies, so why not get her a Harry Potter coloring book? There are actually several different ones available in paperback, spiral-bound, or with library binding depending on how serious you think she’ll be about her art. Throw in some fancy colored pencils and the gift is complete.
- ‘Pour Decisions’ Wine Glass – I see so many people carrying around coffee mugs with funny sayings (have you seen the ‘this might be wine’ one?), but what about wine glasses? This cute one is etched, not printed, and dishwasher safe so your lady friend can make pour decisions with it for many, many years.
- Beanie, Scarf, & Mittens Set – How cute is this matching set?! It’s totally worthy of an Instagram photo and comes in 5 colors.
- Passport Holder – This isn’t your average passport holder. It has a phone charger in it! Just what every traveller needs as a backup nowadays. The battery can fully charge a dead phone, and the holder can fit an iPhone plus inside. It also has room for all sorts of travel documents and cards, and has RFID blocking to protect from electronic pickpocketing. Also available in 2 other colors.
- Audible Subscription – I included this idea already on the Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Him, but it’s definitely a gift that crosses all genders. Give someone the gift of audiobooks for a few months by getting them a subscription to Audible. I love listening to podcasts and audiobooks in the car, and sometimes even at the gym. I’m a non fiction lover so I’m currently reading this book all about pseudocide, or faking one’s own death (not a how-to, just an interesting look into the crazy world of it!).
