Recently I’ve been feeling like it’s my duty to expand my online shopping habits. I’m a pretty loyal Old Navy and Amazon gal, but in the interests of fashion blogging I just need to widen my horizons, right? Despite my hesitations with return shipping (I live overseas and can’t return for free to a local store), I decided to test my luck with a JCPenney order. Even though everything didn’t work out, I’m considering it a huge success because I am head over heels for this striped ruffle top.
This top was the item that I based my whole order around. You know what I’m talking about; the one that I had to have, so after adding it to my cart I added just enough other items I liked to get free shipping (including the blazer from this post)! And what a relief when it finally arrived and I loved it in person just as much as in the pictures. The ruffles, stripes, and loose fit…what’s not to love?! It comes in a few other patterns, too.
I don’t know if this is a fashion rule or something, but spring feels like the time to bring out the turquoise. I’ve had this beaded necklace for a few years, and I want to wear it 24/7 once it starts to warm up. Especially with black and white, separate and when striped! I don’t even remember where this one is from, but this one is similar.
If you follow me on Insta you saw from my stories that I have been on a work trip this week and staying in a hotel. It’s been quite a treat for me to watch American cable and binge all of my favorite love-to-hate MTV dramas! It’s been Catfish, 16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom OG, and Jersey Shore all week long, baby. Please tell me other adults still enjoy these shows!
