If you told me a year ago that I would be wearing (and loving!) sneakers and baseball caps, I probably would have told you that you were insane. But look at me now! Once you go comfy and practical it’s hard to go back. And I guess because it’s trendy I don’t feel like so much of a slob?
I’ve had these Asics sneakers for awhile and they definitely have a low cost per wear. I wear them to the gym 2-3 times a week, and then they’re usually my first pick for an athleisure look. Everything goes with basic black, right?!
Now this may be my first time wearing a baseball hat since t-ball, but it won’t be my last. I bet you can’t even tell that I’ve been rocking dry shampoo in my hair for 2 days! This black cap is part of my Zaful collaboration (other items posted here and here), and it’s such a great site to get trendy accessories. This hat is under $6, and I also love this suede option and this leather one that are similarly priced.
This Belle + Sky pair of distressed denim from JCPenney is one of my favorites for the weekend. They’re basically a jegging which means it was made for athleisure. And I kind have this weird rule for myself that whenever I go casual I swipe on my favorite red lipstick to dial the whole look up a notch. A little dash of glam never hurt anybody 😉
PS: This Old Navy top is a few seasons old, but I found a super similar one linked below!
