I know we’re not even half way through the month yet, but I’ve already blown my personal clothing budget for February.
Right when you don’t have money to spend is when all the cute stuff starts popping up in your inbox from your favorite retailers! I ordered this orange-y red soft spun top from Old Navy a few months ago (styled here), and now IT’S BACK. In a slightly different form, but still a super soft high-low long sleeve top.
Let me tell you, when they say soft spun, they mean soft. It’s the perfect top to get you from winter to summer, since you can wear it now with jeans and boots and later with shorts and flip flops. It’s on sale and available in a few colors 🙂
It seems like the weather is trying to warm up here in Germany, and I’ve been gladly trading my tall boots for booties as it does. Something that annoys me with most of my skinny jeans is that I have to give them a few good rolls at the bottom so they look good with my booties. I mean, sometimes I like the look of an ankle roll, and sometimes I’m not feeling it.
When I’m not feeling it I reach for my legging skimmer jeans from Gap Factory. The slightly cropped ankle length is perfect for wearing with booties and the stretch in them is wonderful. I don’t like my jeggings to be too much of a legging fit…I prefer a little more denim feel to them, and this pair has a great balance.
If you’re looking to add a few more items to your Gap Factory cart before checkout, I highly recommend their compression leggings. I talked about them in my half marathon training update last week, and I think the sale price is such a steal for the quality of leggings you get. They’re thicker and hold you in really well…so much so that I have three pairs! I definitely prefer them to the Old Navy activewear leggings.
I’m going on a ski trip this long weekend, so I only have two more work days before vacay! And I’ll probably be packing this soft top 😉
