I sure hope you’re not sick of travel style…but if you are you can breathe a sigh of relief! Today’s look is the final one from my trip to the Czech Republic the other weekend. And a scorcher of a day in České Budějovice required a breezy midi skirt, flip flops, and a shady vacation hat.
This was my outfit for the road trip there and half a day walking around the city. I love wearing midi skirts for travel, and initially I thought I would wear this black eyelet one more for work, but I’ve actually been preferring it casually. It looked really cute with a chambray top when I wore it to a food truck festival in this post.
I know that most people wear their vacation hats to the beach, but I specifically chose this ‘Do Not Disturb’ one without a beachy saying so I could get away with it on regular travel. I have to admit, not getting this ‘Resting Beach Face’ one was really hard to do! I’m trying to get as much wear as possible out of this summer hat before fall weather starts rolling in.
Isn’t that picture of the square with colorful buildings cute? It’s what České Budějovice is most famous for. We climbed 225 steps to get that view, but it was worth every single one! If you want more travel inspiration for cute Czech towns, check out my Český Krumlov Photo Diary that was posted on Sunday. It’s an adorable town!
Also, my travel buddy from this trip, Nina, has just featured me in her series Women Around the World over on her blog, A World of Dresses! It was great meeting her in the Czech Republic and connecting with a fellow expat! Check out the post and the rest of her travel adventures based out of Spain.
Enjoy the rest of the week!
