I got my hopes up. I got excited for spring work looks when we had temperatures in the mid-60s and now…we have snow forecasted for next week! What the heck!? I don’t think I’ll ever get used to weather in Germany.
I wore these green pants for work a while back here in this post, and I thought it was about time to remix them. Last time, I wore them with a black sweater and a trench coat and this time it’s with cognac heels and lace. I think green apparel can get kinda Christmas-y if you’re not careful, so I like to stick to neutrals when I wear it.
A lot of people make fun of “the half tuck” (AKA blogger tuck) with the shirt in the front, but honestly I think it’s one of the most flattering things you can do. I don’t like having to mess with my shirt the entire day when it’s tucked in all around. The half tuck is kinda messy, but kinda put together. I also hate wearing belts, and I feel like the half tuck helps me get away with not wearing one even if my trousers have belt loops.
If you work in a formal setting, you might not be able to get away with it, but I even love it with casual wear (in fact…I’m doing it as I write this post with a t-shirt and jeans!).
I’m in Vienna this weekend with my friend and we are loving the city so far! Check my Instagram stories for all the deets on our trip and Happy Easter!
